Promoting Foot Health Awareness Through Community Engagement

On 18 May 2025, ProNails Footcare Treatment Centre, supported by PFT INTL Distribution Sdn Bhd, participated in AMSA-UPM Diabetes Day 2025 at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Serdang, Selangor.

The event, organised in collaboration with the Asian Medical Students' Association at Universiti Putra Malaysia (AMSA-UPM), provided an opportunity to promote greater public awareness of foot health and the importance of preventive footcare.

Through this initiative, ProNails contributed professional footcare knowledge and complimentary foot screening services to event participants.

Complimentary Foot Screening for Participants

One of the key activities during the programme was the provision of free foot screening by the ProNails Footcare Treatment Centre team.

The screening initiative aimed to encourage participants to pay closer attention to their foot health and recognise the importance of regular foot observation and appropriate footcare practices.

Participants were also introduced to general footcare awareness and the role of professional footcare services in maintaining healthy feet.

Supporting Diabetes and Footcare Awareness

Foot health is an important aspect of overall well-being, particularly for individuals living with diabetes.

Diabetes can increase the risk of foot-related complications, making regular foot checks, appropriate hygiene and timely medical attention essential aspects of preventive care.

By participating in AMSA-UPM Diabetes Day 2025, ProNails helped promote awareness of footcare as part of broader diabetes education and community health initiatives.
